Interinstitutional Ph.D.
Interinstitutional Ph.D. (DINTER) PPgMS-UFBA and Center for Biological and Health Sciences (CCBS) - UFCG (Federal University of Campina Grande)
The Interinstitutional Ph.D. program (DINTER-CAPES New Frontiers) aimed to offer vacancies at the Ph.D. degree for a group or class of students in special conditions. The DINTER-CAPES NF —an agreement between the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG)—, had PPgMS-UFBA as its upholder and the Center for Biological and Health Sciences (CCBS) as a host at UFCG. This partnership included the presence of 20 Ph.D. candidates (professors at UFCG in the Cajazeiras and Campina Grande campi), who were supervised by our Program’s professors, with the collaboration of UFCG professors. The curriculum used was the same as PPgMS’s, and the courses were taught in accordance with CAPES requirements, both where the upholder program is located (Salvador) and the city of the host institution (Campina Grande).
